Used to locate similar linework. A linear element is similar to another element if it occupies a similar area. The Find Similar Linework tool settings window is used to move, delete, or flag linework that overlaps, but does not share the same coordinates.

Similar elements are found by generating a zone around all linear elements within a fence. This zone is defined by the tolerance setting. If one zone overlaps another, within a specified percentage, it is identified as containing a similar element.
